Youth Protection Policy

Litomi establishes and applies this policy under applicable laws and service operating standards so that minors can be protected from harmful information.

1. Purpose and Scope

This policy is provided to explain standards and procedures for youth protection, in light of the purpose of the Youth Protection Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and related laws, with respect to information and user interaction features provided by Litomi through information and communications networks.

Litomi provides a service for viewing and exploring manga and may apply measures such as access restrictions, report handling, and operating policy updates to reduce exposure to information that may be inappropriate for minors.

2. Minor Access Restrictions and Management Measures

  • The service entry screen provides notice and usage restriction guidance that this website is intended for adults 19 and older.
  • For logged-in users, the service may require BBaton-based anonymous adult verification for necessary features.
  • Additional adult verification or access restrictions may apply to some features or usage flows under Korean law, internal policies, or service operating judgment.
  • For information that may be harmful to minors, reasonable protective measures such as scope adjustments, exposure limits, deletion, or account restrictions may be applied.

3. Harmful Information Monitoring and Response

Litomi may review whether information is harmful to minors or unlawful based on user reports, rights-holder notices, operational review, or legal requests.

If review indicates that action is necessary for youth protection or legal compliance, the service may limit exposure, delete content, take temporary measures, block access, restrict accounts, or request additional materials.

Serious matters such as child or youth sexual exploitation material, illegal filming, coerced sexual images, or clearly unlawful information are reviewed for swift restriction or deletion ahead of ordinary in-service report procedures.

4. Operating Procedures and Internal Management

  • The operations team reviews youth protection-related laws, report types, and access restriction standards and reflects them in service operating standards.
  • When an inquiry or report related to youth protection is received, the team prioritizes review according to the nature of the matter.
  • When necessary, related screens, posts, work information, report details, and handling records are reviewed to determine follow-up action.
  • When policies, laws, or service structures change, youth protection procedures and guidance text are updated together.

5. Counseling and Complaint Handling

Inquiries or reports related to exposure to harmful information for minors, insufficient access restrictions, or distribution of unlawful or harmful content may be submitted by email below. Copyright infringement reports should use the Copyright/DMCA report page. Other general inquiries can be sent to the youth protection officer/contact below for review and handling.
